Food preservation is one of my favorite subjects. It brings a great sense of satisfaction to walk into my canning room and peruse the jars full of bright colors and fun shapes. My childhood memories of pressure canning consisted of my grandma walking around the kitchen wringing her hands in fear as she seemed to anticipate an explosion, so learning to can was quite an undertaking.
It’s not nearly as scary as Grandma led me to believe. It’s also one of the most rewarding skills I’ve learned. I’d love to share my knowledge with you.
